Application Guidelines – Aspire India Scholars Program

This is a step-by-step guide to the Aspire India Scholars Program (AISP) for High School Students (IX, X, XI & XII) application. We have provided here the information to help prepare you for the application and enrollment process as well as the details of the materials required to apply. This document shall answer most questions that may arise during the application and enrollment process.

Create your account: Your Aspire India Scholars Program account will allow you to start, save and continue your application online, at your convenience.
Open the Verification email: To confirm your email address and to start your application process.
Start your application: Once logged in to your JGSS account, you can start your application process. Read the detailed guidelines given below.
Complete your application: In order to complete your application, you must fill out all the required information and submit the completed form

Essay and Short Response
Completing the Application form
Admission Decision

FIRST STEP – Your application will be complete once:

You have completed the “personal information” section
You have completed the “family information” section
You have provided the “address details”
You have completed the “academic details”
You have responded to all the short questions
On the declaration page, you have uploaded your recent passport photograph and previous class transcript
Finally, you press the ‘Submit’ button.
The decision regarding your selection to the program will be communicated over email within 7 working days of your application. If selected, the link to enrolment form (second step) will be shared with you to complete the process.

Admissions to the Aspire India Scholars Program (AISP) will be on a rolling basis. Program seats can fill before the deadline. So, please submit your complete application as soon as possible.

Upload your recent photograph. Photograph must be a recent one.

High School Transcript

Submit your high school transcript. Transcripts must include your most recent semester grades. Transcripts must also show your full name and the name of your school. While transcripts do not need to be official, they must be in English. An explanation of your school’s grading scale must also be included.

Short Responses to Questions

Complete Four Short Responses: AISP/AIIP Programme requires that all applicants to complete and submit (in English) short responses to four questions.
All applicants must answer these questions:

Please describe the factor that most influenced you and your hopes and dreams. How have they shaped you? (200 words limit)

What are you most passionate about? Be specific. (100-words limit)

Why do you want to become an Aspire India Scholar? (100-words limit)

What would you contribute to the Aspire India Scholars Program and community? (100-words limit)

Completing the Application form

Review all completed items in the online application, upload the requisite documents, and press the submit button.

Admission Decision

After we receive your application and payment conﬁrmation we shall process your application within 7 working days. All notiﬁcations will be sent on the email you have provided in application form.

SECOND STEP – Your enrollment will be complete once:
Travel Detail
Student Conduct
Letter of Undertaking and Consent form for Photography/Videography
Communication Preference
Completing the Enrollment form
Acceptance & Securing a Spot

SECOND STEP – Your enrollment will be complete once:

You have completed the “student conduct” section
You have completed the “letter of undertaking” section
You have completed the “consent form for photography/videography” section
You have completed “communication preference” section
You have made the payment for the program

Enrollment to the Aspire India Scholars Program (AISP) will be only confirmed once we receive the completed enrollment form.

Student Conduct

Student signature. Student signature, full name, date and time is required for student conduct application section to be complete

Letter of Undertaking and Consent form for Photography/Videography

Student signature. Student signature, full name, date is required for letter of undertaking and consent form for photography/videography application section to be complete.
Parent/guardian signature. A parent/guardian signature, full name, date is required for Letter of Undertaking and consent form for photography/videography application section to be complete.

Communication Preference

We would like to contact you with updates and information regarding other courses and services from O.P. Jindal Global University. (Optional)

Student signature. Student signature, full name, date is required for communication preference section to be complete.

Parent/guardian signature. A parent/guardian signature, full name, date is required for communication preference section to be complete.

Completing the Enrollment form

Review all completed checklist.
Student and Parent/guardian signature. Student and parent/guardian signature is required in the appropriate section of the application form.

Acceptance & Securing a Spot

Accept Admission OfferIn the event that a student is offered admission, it is the student’s responsibility to formally accept the offer by completing the enrolment form and pay the requisite fees for the programme.

Important Note: Your spot in the program isn’t secure until you have received a confirmation email from the AISP/AIIP Team after reviewing your enrolment form and payment information.

Once you have thoroughly reviewed the application and enrollment process, and the other information provided, you may be ready to start your application.
