I have great pleasure in announcing the launch of the fourth batch of Aspire India Scholars Programme (AISP), Jindal Global Summer School (JGSS), a programme under the aegis of the International Institute for Higher Education Research & Capacity Building (IIHEd) of the O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed To Be University). This unique two-week Summer School (6 June 2021 – 20 June 2021 ). This program has been designed by JGU faculty members to mentor high school students (IX, X, XI & XII Standard) through their crucial transition from high school to higher education.
The AISP curriculum will provide global perspectives, holistic learning, and ethical engagement for students through theme-based experiential learning modules in 9 interdisciplinary areas - Law, Justice, and Democracy (LJD): Business Management, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship (BLE); Diplomacy, International Relations, and Peace (DIP); Economy, Public Policy, and Development (EPD): Liberal Arts, Culture, and Humanities (LCH); Media Communication and Public Affairs (MCPA); Art, Architecture & Design (AAD); Banking, Finance and Accounting (BFA); and Climate Change, Environment & Sustainability (CES). This programme will provide students with knowledge and perspectives on the various options and opportunities available for higher education. The students will also learn from the experience of Aspire India Ambassadors - young achievers from different professional fields, acclaimed nationally and globally. They will address our summer school students and share their challenges of transition from high school to higher education. Students will learn about their failures, which eventually became pillars of their success.
