Tell me about the academic program of Aspire India Scholars Programme (AISP) for High School Students (IX, X, XI & XII)?

Are there any special language requirements for studying in AISP?

Are there any foreign language options available apart from English?

What are the areas of study in AISP?

Through three theme-based/case-study based online workshops, AISP 2023 will give students learning experience in twelve interdisciplinary areas of Law, Business, International Affairs, Public Policy, Liberal Arts, Journalism & Communication, Banking & Finance, Art & Architecture, Environment & Sustainability, Psychology & Counselling, Languages & Literature, and Public Health & Human Development.

Consider this real world example: "An Indian business conglomerate is expanding to new geographies. Multi-Billion dollar investments are planned. Locals are protesting the entry of the company into their backyards, citing large scale negative impact on environment and health of residents. Indian Minister of External Affairs and Minister of Commerce have talked to their counterparts in host country in support of the project. The banks have approved loan for the company's proposed expansion but looking at the protests and its widespread negative media coverage locally, and across the globe, they are reconsidering their decision."
This is a single issue. So, in which domain does it lie? Do you see this as a purely business issue concerning a corporate entity and its expansion plans? Or is it a legal issue that law schools will teach? Is this a public policy or public health issue? Or do environment and sustainability experts also have a role to play here? Have the bankers taken into consideration the political, environmental, and social risks of the project while approving the loan? What kind of role do media houses and NGOs play in such critical issues? During the AISP summer school students would learn to analyse similar case studies from diverse disciplinary lenses.
